Ferdinand Muntian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Ichim in the 13th minute of the match. Calistrat Stanciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Lucescu having to interfere. Ferdinand Muntian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Alexandru, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Calistrat Stanciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Dărmănești fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mugur Lucescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Stanciu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ferdinand Muntian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Blăniță in the 35th minute of the match. Steaua Dărmănești's Ferdinand Muntian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Macarie in the 38th minute of play. George Gogea hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nevesteasca's Iustin Macarie got a free kick in the 40th minute. Nicu Stăniloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Constantin Bianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Muntian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Steaua Dărmănești's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Bianu came free, but Ferdinand Muntian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ferdinand Muntian was a little too slow when Gigi Ichim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-2. Calistrat Stanciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leontin Bîndean's late challenge caught a Nevesteasca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Bîndean helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinand Muntian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vali Blăniță in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Steaua Dărmănești's goalkeeper Ferdinand Muntian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Macarie. In the 74th minute of the match Mihăiţă Avram shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugur Lucescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferdinand Muntian came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevesteasca's Iustin Macarie. But to his dismay, Iustin Macarie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ferdinand Muntian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Macarie in the 80th minute of play. If Calistrat Stanciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Vali Blăniță recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ferdinand Muntian. Vali Blăniță showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 89 minutes into the match, Nevesteasca's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Ţirpescu came free, but Mugur Lucescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Steaua Dărmănești's Ferdinand Muntian got control of the ball when Iustin Macarie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steaua Dărmănești's Ferdinand Muntian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Steaua Dărmănești from getting a goal against them. Petru Visarion hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Steaua Dărmănești fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nevesteasca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
