Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ion Hârșu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Nicolae Budulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Mineață saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sever Doinaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Hârșu in the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Nechifor Cristea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerneteaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Cristea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Cristea got free with Sever Doinaș in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sever Mineață showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ionică Giurcă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sever Mineață was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Hârșu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sever Doinaș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sever Doinaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Hârșu in the 35th minute of play. Sever Doinaș made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nechifor Cristea sent off a good shot on target. If Nechifor Cristea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionică Giurcă to strike the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Udrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ghergheleu CSS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pompiliu Panaiteanu hit a great ball. Ion Hârșu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Doinaș having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Ionică Giurcă made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cerneteaz's Sever Mineață tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ion Hârșu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerneteaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Hârșu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Doinaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Marin Tutuianu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sever Doinaș. Ghergheleu CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Tutuianu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Nechifor Cristea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Hârșu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Doinaș having to interfere. Ghergheleu CSS's Sever Doinaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Cristea in the 86th minute of play. Cerneteaz's Ion Hârșu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Ghergheleu CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Hârșu came free, but Sever Doinaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cerneteaz's Nechifor Cristea got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ghergheleu CSS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cerneteaz from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
