Fabian Uncuţă kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihail Scaeru during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Tarsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Scaeru to maneuver through the defense. Tarsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Jecu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Doinaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Popic took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Doinaș. Sever Doinaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Valentin Popic might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Doinaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Popic ran back to his position shaking his head. Ghergheleu CSS's Sever Doinaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Panduru in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valentin Popic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sever Doinaș was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46thth minute of the game Horia Jecu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghergheleu CSS's Sever Doinaș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horia Jecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionică Giurcă was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Nicolae Budulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Bălace saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ghergheleu CSS defense, Horia Jecu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sever Doinaș. The Ghergheleu CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sever Doinaș should have stopped the shot. Tarsa's Iurie Bălace played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Budulea in the 62nd minute of play. Emanuel Panduru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 64th playminute. Horia Jecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Panduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sever Doinaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iurie Bălace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Budulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Tarsa and the Ghergheleu CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes in the game, Valentin Popic fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sever Doinaș having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Tarsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Popic to maneuver through the defense. Horia Jecu fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 95th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When the final whistle sounded Tarsa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ghergheleu CSS.
