Ghergheleu CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nichifor Plopeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Tâbârnă might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Doinaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Tâbârnă ran back to his position shaking his head. Sever Doinaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Plopeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Corneliu Udrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marin Tâbârnă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute.
