Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Mutu made the kick off which started today's match. Mihai Banu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Aurelian Berca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aurelian Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mutu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, FC boierasii mici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Mărăcuță to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Manuel Mutu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Berca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Banu got free with Aurelian Berca in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Codru came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC boierasii mici's Dumitru Todericiu. But to his dismay, Dumitru Todericiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 29 played minutes FC boierasii mici got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Mărăcuță. Mihai Banu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelian Berca having to make a save. Adam Şerb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelian Berca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Todericiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Codru having to interfere. Mădălin Mărăcuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Codru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Goiciu in the 40th minute of play.

Aurelian Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Banu in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Cojani CS getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ştefan Iordănescu hit a great ball. Iulian Codru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Todericiu in the 62nd minute. In the 66th match minute, Cojani CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Ghiurutan to maneuver through the defense. Iulian Codru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Goiciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Goiciu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Codru saved Cojani CS from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, FC boierasii mici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Terzian to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Todericiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cojani CS's Iulian Codru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Goiciu in the 80th minute of play. Iulian Codru didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Aurelian Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Banu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Banu couldn't finish the play. Cojani CS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
