Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bogdan Miheș started the match with the kick off. Ion Zgârcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Enache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Bogdan Miheș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Agrigoroaiei in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Condeescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ion Zgârcu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Bucova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Zgârcu couldn't finish the play. If Marius Agrigoroaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bogdan Miheș kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Condeescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Răzvan Negrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bucova's Mădălin Ghișerel tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Bucova got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Vorniceanu. In the 45th minute, Bogdan Miheș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Răzvan Negrescu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilie CSu's protests and gave Răzvan Negrescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ilie CSu getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Răzvan Negrescu hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Vărzaru was the one to do the kick off. Pavel Enache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Vărzaru in the 54th minute of the match. Răzvan Negrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pavel Enache made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ion Zgârcu sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Romeo Dărăscu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilie CSu the free kick. Romeo Dărăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Bogdan Vărzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Condeescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Agrigoroaiei in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Bogdan Vărzaru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pavel Enache, 1-1. Gigel Pelin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Emil Condeescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Agrigoroaiei in the 97th minute of play.
