Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iosif Lupașcu kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, CS Targoviste's Marcu Tilincă got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Emilian Simionaş hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. David Şerbănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, CS Targoviste's Călin Pădureanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciprian Zdrenghea was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Aurelian Bârlă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Lupașcu took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Zdrenghea. Ciprian Zdrenghea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 45th minute Gică Suciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Sărăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Abraham was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes of play, CS Targoviste's Călin Pădureanu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciprian Zdrenghea was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Suciu in the 64th minute of play forced CS Targoviste's goalkeeper Doru Sărăroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Abraham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gică Suciu's late challenge caught a CS Targoviste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gică Suciu helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Hummel got a freekick which was hit by Gică Suciu. Călin Pădureanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ciprian Zdrenghea made a huge save. Ciprian Zdrenghea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Lupașcu in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Iosif Lupașcu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciprian Zdrenghea. Iosif Lupașcu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. With a little luck, Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea got control of the ball when Călin Pădureanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Iosif Lupașcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ciprian Zdrenghea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Iosif Lupașcu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the CS Targoviste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Lupașcu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hummel getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vali Huidu hit a great ball. CS Targoviste's Dorin Groșan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hummel. When the match was over CS Targoviste could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hummel throughout the match.
