Ciprian Zdrenghea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Bădoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Ştefan Isaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciprian Zdrenghea. Hummel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Isaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Isaia in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Emilian Simionaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hummel and the Pantazi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Emilian Simionaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Cezar Bădoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 56th minute Cezar Bădoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Zdrenghea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Zdrenghea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Isaia in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Bădoi. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Pantazi's Mihnea Floricel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ciprian Zdrenghea. Vali Huidu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vali Huidu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Isaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciprian Zdrenghea was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Remus Panin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciprian Zdrenghea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Isaia in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Hummel got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Milea. Pantazi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
