After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Leontin Geantă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Vlad Breazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Victor Avădanei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Enceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Hortopan's late challenge caught a Ostrovul Q's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Hortopan helped the player get up and apologised. Virgil Hortopan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Ilie Lăzăroiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ostrovul Q's Emilian Cinteză was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ostrovul Q the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Vladestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Doroftei to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ostrovul Q walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
