Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cezar Bădoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Plesa's Avram Ghișe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Plesa from getting a goal against them. Remus Panin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pantazi's Mihnea Floricel got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Tarcu in the 8th minute of play forced Pantazi's goalkeeper Fabian Marian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezar Bădoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avram Ghișe. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Avram Ghișe made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ştefan Isaia sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Marian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Tarcu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Panait Gavruță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fabian Marian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Liviu Cristoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Cristoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Marian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Isaia got free with Avram Ghișe in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Miniș in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Marian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Tarcu to make the kick off. Fabian Marian came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Plesa's Petruț Miniș. Fabian Marian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Cristoiu in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Remus Panin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pantazi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Avram Ghișe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
