Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mugur Bădulescu made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Vladestii booed when AC Sebes Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Ionescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Bârlea made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Leontin Geantă sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, AC Sebes Eagles's Stelian Jienescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Sebes Eagles's goalkeeper Martin Bârlea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes of play, AC Sebes Eagles's Iustin Argăseală made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nae Enceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mugur Bădulescu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Nae Enceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Sebes Eagles. With his leg Martin Bârlea managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Vladestii's Leontin Geantă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nae Enceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Argăseală in the 36th minute of the match. Iustin Argăseală fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Enceanu having to interfere. In the 44th minute Mugur Bădulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Enceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilie Lăzăroiu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mugur Bădulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Mardare hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. AC Sebes Eagles's Martin Bârlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Lăzăroiu in the 68th minute of play. Iustin Argăseală could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Nae Enceanu made a huge save. Iustin Argăseală received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nae Enceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vladestii getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Irinel Doroftei hit a great ball. Nae Enceanu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Iustin Argăseală sent off a good shot on target. Ilie Lăzăroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bârlea having to interfere. If Ilie Lăzăroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Bârlea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leontin Geantă's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Ilie Lăzăroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Sebes Eagles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
