Călin Pădureanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. CS Targoviste's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiberiu Ene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Lupașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, WORLDVENTURES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Codin to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Lupașcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiberiu Ene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Tiberiu Ene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Lupașcu in the 19th minute of play. After 26 played minutes, WORLDVENTURES's Damian Stan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doru Sărăroiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WORLDVENTURES reached it. After having played for 40 minutes, Șerban Nișu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WORLDVENTURES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Nișu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to CS Targoviste getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Teodor Aursulesei hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, WORLDVENTURES's Călin Stroescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 48th minute, Francisc Arnăutu made a precise shot to the right of Doru Sărăroiu. CS Targoviste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Șerban Nișu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Doru Sărăroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisc Arnăutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Nișu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doru Sărăroiu having to make a save. Martin Astafiei kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, WORLDVENTURES's Călin Stroescu tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Martin Astafiei got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 83 minutes into the match, WORLDVENTURES's Călin Stroescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind WORLDVENTURES's goalkeeper Tiberiu Ene, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the WORLDVENTURES players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
