Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octav Tarcu got the match started through his kick off. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Ostrovul Q's Octav Ionășescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Avram Ghișe. Ostrovul Q's Emilian Cinteză played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Gavruță in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Victor Avădanei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ostrovul Q and the Plesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Ostrovul Q got a freekick which was hit by Victor Avădanei. Liviu Cristoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Liviu Cristoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Cristoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristide Enache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Avram Ghișe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ostrovul Q's goalkeeper Emilian Cinteză, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octav Tarcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Cinteză having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Avădanei made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panait Gavruță in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Cinteză prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute of the match Dorin Brezoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Cinteză skillfully saved the ball. Avram Ghișe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Antipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sever Antipa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Victor Avădanei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Plesa's Panait Gavruță got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Liviu Cristoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octav Tarcu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emilian Cinteză didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plesa. Liviu Cristoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Emilian Cinteză tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Tarcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Cinteză having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Antipa during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ostrovul Q's Sever Antipa got a free kick in the 76th minute. Avram Sorin's late challenge caught a Ostrovul Q's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avram Sorin helped the player get up and apologised. Avram Sorin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Liviu Cristoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Liviu Cristoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Cinteză showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Gavruță in the 84th minute of the match. Octav Tarcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Cinteză having to interfere. If Vlad Breazu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Panait Gavruță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ostrovul Q were victorious despite being under pressure from Plesa for much of the match.
