In the 13th minute Nicu Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Ene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Nișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Nicu Abraham came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Hummel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Abraham couldn't finish the play. Gică Suciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Ene having to interfere. Tiberiu Ene didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gică Suciu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Hummel's zone, Șerban Nișu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Zdrenghea came out of the goal and Șerban Nișu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Șerban Nișu sent off a good shot on target. Tiberiu Ene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Suciu in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Hummel's Gică Suciu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Ene was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, WORLDVENTURES's Petre Codin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciprian Zdrenghea. Ciprian Zdrenghea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Arnăutu in the 48th minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

53 minutes into the match, Hummel's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Arnăutu came free, but Ciprian Zdrenghea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Prodan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Emilian Simionaş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hummel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WORLDVENTURES the free kick. In the 74th minute, Petre Codin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gică Suciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Arnăutu in the 82nd minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WORLDVENTURES's Cristi Preda got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Francisc Arnăutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Șerban Nișu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
