Marcu Cucerzan started the match with the kick off. Eric Corlățean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Miclauș in the 3rd minute of the match. FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Negru in the 5th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Nisipul got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Miheș. Cezar Urderean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Banatim defense, Cezar Urderean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Moldovan. The FC Banatim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Moldovan should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Nisipul's Eduard Cipău got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Nisipul's Eric Corlățean got control of the ball when Olimpiu Miclauș tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Vasile Pistol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, FC Banatim's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Urderean came free, but Eduard Moldovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes FC Banatim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aron Bobailă who took care of the corner kick. Eduard Moldovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Urderean, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, FC Banatim's Cornel Muslea got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, FC Banatim's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Negru came free, but Eduard Moldovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Urderean in the 58th minute of play forced FC Banatim's goalkeeper Eduard Moldovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Cezar Urderean reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduard Moldovan. The goal made the score 0-2. If Răzvan Negru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Răzvan Negru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Eduard Moldovan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 minutes of play, FC Banatim's Olimpiu Miclauș made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Corlățean was left in no man's land by his defense there! Răzvan Negru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cezar Urderean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eduard Moldovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nisipul's Eric Corlățean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Cucerzan in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Nisipul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Negru to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Fabian Oroveanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nisipul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Banatim the free kick. The supporters of FC Banatim booed when Nisipul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Oroveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Urderean in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nisipul's goalkeeper Eric Corlățean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan got control of the ball when Răzvan Negru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nisipul's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
