Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iulian Simuţ got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Sag's Denis Şuplăcan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Iulian Simuţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Vermeşan in the 10th minute of play forced Cirjoani's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gheție to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurențiu Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Breazu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Pompiliu Breazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugurel Mincă during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Vermeşan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cirjoani booed when Sag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Vermeşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iulian Simuţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Moisil got free with Laurențiu Gheție in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Breazu in the 42nd minute of play. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. Iulian Simuţ might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorin Zegreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Simuţ ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Iulian Simuţ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirjoani's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Simuţ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorin Zegreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pompiliu Breazu to make the kick off. If Bogdan Huștiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Basarab Huțanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirjoani's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Huțanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorin Zegreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cazimir Moisil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Gheție having to interfere. Laurențiu Gheție showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Şuplăcan in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Ionuț Vermeşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Laurențiu Gheție was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Sag's Cazimir Moisil made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Gheție was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Pompiliu Breazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Simuţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Zegreanu having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sag could leave the field as winners, despite Cirjoani having more of the ball for most of the match.
