Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dacian Prislop started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Simuţ in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Sebastian's goalkeeper Aristide Lăceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Dinu Ticulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sebastian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cirjoani the free kick. A collision led to FC Sebastian getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dinu Ticulescu hit a great ball. Bogdan Huștiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristide Lăceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Lăceanu having to interfere. Calistrat Logofeteanu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Laurențiu Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ticulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aristide Lăceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Huștiu in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Bogdan Huștiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirjoani's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Huștiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Lăceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cirjoani from getting a goal against them. Daniel Bologan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Vlad Giurgiu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Aristide Lăceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirjoani. FC Sebastian's Dinu Ticulescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Dinu Ticulescu off the ground. In the 26th match minute, FC Sebastian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Ticulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Dacian Prislop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Iulian Simuţ made a precise shot to the right of Aristide Lăceanu. FC Sebastian's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cirjoani's zone, Matei Luncașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Gheție came out of the goal and Matei Luncașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Cirjoani got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Runcu. 47 minutes into the match, Cirjoani's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gheție had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Luncașu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iulian Simuţ to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bogdan Huștiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Iulian Simuţ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristide Lăceanu. FC Sebastian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Simuţ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Matei Luncașu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Bogdan Huștiu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Sebastian's Aristide Lăceanu. Aristide Lăceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basarab Huțanu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aristide Lăceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirjoani. Laurențiu Gheție showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Bucataru in the 67th minute of the match. Aristide Lăceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Huțanu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sebastian's zone, Bogdan Huștiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Lăceanu came out of the goal and Bogdan Huștiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Sebastian's Dacian Prislop got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Basarab Huțanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Lăceanu having to interfere. Matei Luncașu charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matei Luncașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cirjoani booed when FC Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Luncașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Huștiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aristide Lăceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirjoani played a much better game than FC Sebastian and deserved their victory. The FC Sebastian players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
