Zumbistii CSM's Niculae Roşca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Zumbistii CSM from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Zumbistii CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Apetroaiei to maneuver through the defense. Costin Apetroaiei charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costin Apetroaiei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Zumbistii CSM got a freekick which was hit by Costin Apetroaiei. When Basarab Huțanu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cirjoani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Huțanu couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Roşca having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Iulian Simuţ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Roşca. Zumbistii CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Simuţ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Niculae Roşca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iulian Simuţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Simuţ in the 68th minute of play forced Zumbistii CSM's goalkeeper Niculae Roşca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Roşca came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Cirjoani's Iulian Simuţ. But to his dismay, Iulian Simuţ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Bogdan Huștiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute.
