Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iulian Simuţ took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iulian Simuţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Aanuţei having to interfere. Cirjoani's Bogdan Huștiu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorin Câmpeanu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Gheție. Laurențiu Gheție dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Basarab Huțanu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cirjoani's protests and gave Basarab Huțanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gageni AC booed when Cirjoani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Huțanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Gageni AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Mercea to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Huștiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gageni AC's Valeriu Trăiloiu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bogdan Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Basarab Huțanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Daniel Aanuţei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Iulian Simuţ sped through Gageni AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Aanuţei. Bogdan Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Aanuţei having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Gageni AC's goalkeeper Daniel Aanuţei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Simuţ. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sorin Câmpeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Huțanu in the 53rd minute of play forced Gageni AC's goalkeeper Daniel Aanuţei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gageni AC's zone, Bogdan Huștiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Aanuţei came out of the goal and Bogdan Huștiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Aanuţei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Huștiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gageni AC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ionică Uzuneanu hit a great ball. Basarab Huțanu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bogdan Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Iulian Simuţ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gageni AC's Daniel Aanuţei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogdan Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Giurgiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Aanuţei having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Gageni AC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Huștiu came free, but Daniel Aanuţei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Sorin Câmpeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Aanuţei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Huțanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Iulian Simuţ might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Aanuţei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Simuţ ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Cirjoani's Iulian Simuţ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Aanuţei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Gageni AC got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Câmpeanu. With a little luck, Cirjoani's Laurențiu Gheție got control of the ball when Ionică Uzuneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
