Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Răzvan Lepuș kicked off to start the match. Fc Rapid's Ion Hodorog got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vintilă Staicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Rapid's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Staicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Oblemenco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fc Rapid booed when FC. DaBuLeCheO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Fărcașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Magherescu came free, but Ştefan Crivac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Oblemenco made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ion Hodorog sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Hodorog couldn't finish the play. Iurie Oblemenco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Staicu in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, FC. DaBuLeCheO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Mocanu to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid's Gabriel Pantiș broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vintilă Staicu made a kick off. A collision led to FC. DaBuLeCheO getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eugen Mihăileanu hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Fc Rapid were awarded a corner. Gabriel Pantiș went to the cornerflag to take it. 59 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid's goalkeeper Ştefan Crivac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Magherescu. Aron Magherescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ion Hodorog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Vintilă Staicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Rapid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Staicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Lepuș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Magherescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vintilă Staicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Fc Rapid's Vintilă Staicu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Oblemenco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute of the match, Răzvan Lepuș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ştefan Crivac saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Rapid had won after a very even match.
