After some careless play in the FK Partizan defense, Ionică Poplăcan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Georgescu. The FK Partizan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Georgescu should have stopped the shot. Ovidiu Bondrea scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Georgescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelian Hizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Harnagea having to interfere. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emanuel Georgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Georgescu came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan. But to his dismay, Ionică Poplăcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ovidiu Bondrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Poplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emanuel Georgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionică Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Georgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Poplăcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Emanuel Georgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ionică Poplăcan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Emanuel Georgescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Dacii. Ovidiu Bondrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Georgescu having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, FK Partizan's goalkeeper Emanuel Georgescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Bondrea. After a defensive mix-up in FK Partizan's zone, Ionică Poplăcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Georgescu came out of the goal and Ionică Poplăcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidiu Bondreas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Emanuel Georgescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute, Ionică Poplăcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Georgescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ovidiu Bondrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Emanuel Georgescu made a huge save. Stelian Hizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pavel Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Georgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan in the 75th minute of play. When Ovidiu Bondrea came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the F.C.Dacii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Bondrea couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Bondrea got free with Emanuel Georgescu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes FK Partizan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gică Ştirbu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gică Ştirbu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Partizan's Emanuel Georgescu did a great save. After having played for 80 minutes, Ionică Poplăcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Dacii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionică Poplăcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidiu Bondrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, F.C.Dacii's Emanuel Georgescu threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ionică Poplăcan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ferdinand Brumă came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FK Partizan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Brumă couldn't finish the play. Ovidiu Bondrea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Emanuel Georgescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Dacii. If Ferdinand Brumă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FK Partizan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C.Dacii were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
