Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilian Cimpoieru made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match Panait Cinteză shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Seremet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neteni FC's Marin Postelnicescu got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Bratoloveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Bratoloveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Surdesti's Cristian Bratoloveanu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Emilian Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iordache Zaharia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surdesti's goalkeeper Gigel Seremet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iordache Zaharia took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Seremet. Gigel Seremet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Emilian Cimpoieru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neteni FC's Aurelian Gherase proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Neteni FC from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Gherase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Cimpoieru in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Neteni FC's Aurelian Gherase got control of the ball when Gabriel Silişteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilian Cimpoieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Silişteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Aurelian Gherase when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neteni FC's goalkeeper Aurelian Gherase, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelian Gherase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Simionică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilian Cimpoieru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelian Gherase. That made the score 2-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Aurelian Gherase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Cimpoieru in the 60th minute of the match. Marin Postelnicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Seremet having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Emilian Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surdesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilian Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Gherase breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Silişteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aurelian Gherase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Surdesti's Gabriel Silişteanu, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Surdesti. The audience was convinced that Emilian Cimpoieru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Gherase was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Emilian Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surdesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilian Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Gherase breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iordache Zaharia struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gigel Seremet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neteni FC. The supporters of Surdesti booed when Neteni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Panin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emilian Cimpoieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Surdesti had played much better football throughout.
