Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ionică Poplăcan made the kick off which started today's match. If Narcis Pantelimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. F.C.Dacii's Pavel Harnagea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Pantelimon in the 9th minute of play. Ovidiu Bondrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Călin Braru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stefanestii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Braru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefanestii's Narcis Pantelimon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pavel Harnagea. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. After 19 played minutes, Stefanestii's Eugen Zgârcu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavel Harnagea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stefanestii reached it. After 21 minutes of play, F.C.Dacii's Ovidiu Bondrea made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornel Bălace was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidiu Bondrea took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Bălace. Cornel Bălace dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidiu Bondrea in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornel Bălace saved Stefanestii from getting behind. The supporters of F.C.Dacii booed when Stefanestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Bântu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, F.C.Dacii's Gică Ştirbu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornel Bălace came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C.Dacii reached it. Cornel Bălace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, F.C.Dacii's Pavel Harnagea got control of the ball when Călin Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Bălace made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionuț Stroie during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Stefanestii got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Stroie. If Ionică Poplăcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Tiberiu Bântu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C.Dacii's Gică Ştirbu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stefanestii. Cornel Bălace came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan. But to his dismay, Ionică Poplăcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Pantelimon to make the kick off. If Narcis Pantelimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 58th minute of the match, Ionică Poplăcan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cornel Bălace saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Călin Braru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornel Bălace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Ovidiu Bondrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Zgârcu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Manole Lamru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, Stefanestii's Sorin Ghionaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavel Harnagea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
