With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Poplăcan in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Andronic saved FC HERMANNSTADT from getting behind. Ionică Poplăcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionel Andronic came out and tried to block the shot, but Ionică Poplăcan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionică Poplăcan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionel Andronic. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Ovidiu Bondrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Ionică Poplăcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Dacii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionică Poplăcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ionică Poplăcan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the F.C.Dacii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Poplăcan couldn't finish the play. Pavel Harnagea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Gliga in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Petru Amurăriței made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ionică Poplăcan sped through FC HERMANNSTADT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ionel Andronic. When Iustinian Zbereanu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC HERMANNSTADT's protests and gave Iustinian Zbereanu a yellow card for diving instead. Iustinian Zbereanu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Eric Logofeteanu's late challenge caught a F.C.Dacii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Logofeteanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of F.C.Dacii booed when FC HERMANNSTADT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Ovidiu Bondrea sped through FC HERMANNSTADT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ionel Andronic. Ionică Poplăcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Andronic having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the F.C.Dacii players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
