Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olimpiu Birișu made the kick off which started today's match. FC arges were furious when Avram Popovici was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of FC arges:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zapodeni AS:s goal. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Zapodeni AS's Ovidiu Pușcașu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cătălin Bran. Olimpiu Birișu took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Bran. Cătălin Bran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Neaga in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiberiu Moiș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cătălin Bran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Birișu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Petru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiberiu Moiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Zapodeni AS got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Dumitrana. Aurelian Dumitrana kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes, FC arges's Emilian Neaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiberiu Moiș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC arges reached it. After having played for 30 minutes, Nichifor Petru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC arges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Petru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Valeriu Jucan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiberiu Moiș was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Narcis Vornicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cătălin Bran made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, FC arges's goalkeeper Cătălin Bran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Birișu. After a defensive mix-up in Zapodeni AS's zone, Nichifor Petru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Moiș came out of the goal and Nichifor Petru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Nichifor Petru made a precise shot to the right of Tiberiu Moiș. Zapodeni AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nichifor Petru made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Zapodeni AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Nuțu to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Moiș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichifor Petru in the 55th minute. Francisc Stănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Emilian Neaga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Tiberiu Moiș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nichifor Petru got free with Tiberiu Moiș in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Birișu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Bran was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Tiberiu Moiș was a little too slow when Nichifor Petru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-3. FC arges played a much better game than Zapodeni AS and deserved their victory. The Zapodeni AS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
