Niculae Ciocârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Chitimia in the 6th minute of play. If Iosif Poplăcean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gică Giurgiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ciocârlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gică Giurgiu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, FC Chimindia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gică Giurgiu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, FC Chimindia's Niculae Ciocârlan got control of the ball when Gică Giurgiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to The Warriors getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ferdinand Stoicescu hit a great ball. Mihăiţă Demian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Poplăcean in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Chimindia's Valer Bârza got a free kick in the 31st minute. Flavius Chitimia might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ciocârlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavius Chitimia ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, FC Chimindia's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Chitimia came free, but Niculae Ciocârlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, The Warriors's Flavius Chitimia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Ciocârlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Chitimia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Warriors's Mihăiţă Demian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save The Warriors from getting a goal against them. Iosif Poplăcean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mihăiţă Demian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Ferdinand Stoicescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Warriors and the FC Chimindia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferdinand Stoicescu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Gică Giurgiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Giurgiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Poplăcean struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mihăiţă Demian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Chimindia. After a defensive mix-up in The Warriors's zone, Iosif Poplăcean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihăiţă Demian came out of the goal and Iosif Poplăcean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tudor Encuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chimindia's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Encuțu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Demian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Warriors had won after a very even match.
