Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olimpiu Birișu made the kick off and thus started the match. Dumitru Tirulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Moiș having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Cozmâncă in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Moiș saved Zapodeni AS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Zapodeni AS's zone, Isac Cozmâncă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Moiș came out of the goal and Isac Cozmâncă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Zapodeni AS defense, Marian Cinteză kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiberiu Moiș. The Zapodeni AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiberiu Moiș should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigel Comarnescu during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dimteni's Gigel Comarnescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ovidiu Pușcașu, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gheorghe Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Moiș having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Dimteni's Isac Cozmâncă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiberiu Moiș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 38th minute, Dumitru Tirulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dimteni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Zapodeni AS's Tiberiu Moiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Tirulescu in the 41st minute of play. Tiberiu Moiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Milcoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Isac Cozmâncă's late challenge caught a Zapodeni AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Cozmâncă helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Isac Cozmâncă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dumitru Tirulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dumitru Tirulescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Moiș firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiberiu Moiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Cozmâncă in the 53rd minute of play. If Aurel Mihălțan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Dumitru Tirulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Moiș. Zapodeni AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Tirulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Dinu Stanomir fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dimteni's protests and gave Dinu Stanomir a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dimteni's Dinu Stanomir got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Văcărescu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiberiu Moiș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Tirulescu got free with Tiberiu Moiș in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dumitru Tirulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiberiu Moiș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumitru Tirulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marian Cinteză managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dimteni's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Cinteză was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Moiș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute of the match, Marin Oloieru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiberiu Moiș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Corneliu Răţescu fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zapodeni AS's protests and gave Corneliu Răţescu a yellow card for diving instead. Corneliu Răţescu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Bogdan Otețea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isac Cozmâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Isac Cozmâncă fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiberiu Moiș, passed just outside the right post. Isac Cozmâncă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tiberiu Moiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Tirulescus short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Tiberiu Moiș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the game, Zapodeni AS's Olimpiu Birișu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorin Otopeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Olimpiu Birișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Dimteni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zapodeni AS throughout the match.
