Gică Giurgiu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the FC Nicseni - BTF defense, Gică Giurgiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toader Caranfil. The FC Nicseni - BTF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toader Caranfil should have stopped the shot. Gică Giurgiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Toader Caranfil made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Sorin Contra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nicseni - BTF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Warriors the free kick. In the 25th minute, Sorin Contra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, The Warriors's Flavius Chitimia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toader Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Nicseni - BTF's Toader Caranfil got control of the ball when Gică Giurgiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavius Chitimia might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Caranfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavius Chitimia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, The Warriors's Iulian Elefteriu got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Cosmin Itu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, The Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Itu came free, but Mihăiţă Demian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Demian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Comănescu in the 41st minute of play. Mihăiţă Demian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Itu in the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavius Chitimia to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corneliu Comănescu got free with Mihăiţă Demian in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 minutes of play, The Warriors's Flavius Chitimia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toader Caranfil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, Gică Giurgiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Toader Caranfil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to The Warriors getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ferdinand Stoicescu hit a great ball. FC Nicseni - BTF's Valeriu Amărculesei shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mihăiţă Demian but with some difficulty. FC Nicseni - BTF's Toader Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Giurgiu in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Iulian Elefteriu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toader Caranfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a little luck, The Warriors's Mihăiţă Demian got control of the ball when Corneliu Comănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosmin Itu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihăiţă Demian saved The Warriors from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, FC Nicseni - BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Chitimia came free, but Toader Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Flavius Chitimia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavius Chitimia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Itu during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Nicseni - BTF's Cosmin Itu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gică Giurgiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Caranfil having to interfere. Flavius Chitimia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
