Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Eusebiu Negrescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Nechifor Șerbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriu Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 9 played minutes AG Udati got a freekick which was hit by Toader Jucan. Petre Cosoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Aluncai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nechifor Șerbulescu's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Nechifor Șerbulescu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Aluncai. Leonard Aluncai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Valeriu Pacuraru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ion Oargă. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. When Valeriu Pacuraru came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the C.S.Șoimii Lipova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Pacuraru couldn't finish the play. Leonard Aluncai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Negrescu in the 33rd minute of play. Ion Oargă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Pacuraru in the 36th minute of play. Valeriu Pacuraru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ion Oargă came out and tried to block the shot, but Valeriu Pacuraru slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriu Pacuraru to make the kick off. With his leg Leonard Aluncai managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when AG Udati's Eusebiu Negrescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Valeriu Pacuraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Oargă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Pacuraru in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Valeriu Pacuraru sped through AG Udati's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ion Oargă. 65 minutes into the match, AG Udati's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Pacuraru came free, but Ion Oargă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Cosoreanu in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Oargă saved AG Udati from getting behind. If Nechifor Șerbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Jucan's late challenge caught a C.S.Șoimii Lipova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toader Jucan helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the match, Petre Cosoreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Oargă. AG Udati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petre Cosoreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. C.S.Șoimii Lipova's Leonard Aluncai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save C.S.Șoimii Lipova from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.S.Șoimii Lipova had won after a very even match.
