Nichifor Petru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Otopeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Dorin Otopeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Zgîrţa in the 39th minute of play. FC arges's Cătălin Bran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Cozmâncă in the 42nd minute of play.

Dorin Otopeanu came out of the goal and Cristian Zgîrţa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Cozmâncă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimteni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Cristian Zgîrţa scored to the left of an out of position Dorin Otopeanu, making the score, 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Cozmâncă in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Bran saved FC arges from getting behind. The Dimteni supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC arges's performance. The match ended with a win for FC arges.
