Zapodeni AS's Tiberiu Moiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Poplăcean in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Zapodeni AS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Francisc Stănoiu hit a great ball. Dacian Horodincă made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Radu Trifănucă immediately put the ball in play. Tiberiu Moiș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aurel Mihălțan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Moiș came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chimindia's Iosif Poplăcean. But to his dismay, Iosif Poplăcean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sandu Petre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tiberiu Moiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Aurel Mihălțan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niculae Ciocârlan, 1-1.
