Tiberiu Moiș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iosif Păsărin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Olimpiu Birișu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Donciu having to interfere. Zapodeni AS's Tiberiu Moiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Stolojan in the 14th minute of play. Tiberiu Moiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Donose in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Olimpiu Birișu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plesesti's Mircea Donciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Plesesti defense, Olimpiu Birișu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Donciu. The Plesesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Donciu should have stopped the shot. When Narcis Vornicu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Zapodeni AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Vornicu couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, one of Zapodeni AS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zapodeni AS. In the 47th minute Emilian Dedu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Moiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

With a little luck, Zapodeni AS's Tiberiu Moiș got control of the ball when Emilian Dedu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Narcis Vornicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapodeni AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Vornicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Donciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurel Mihălțan scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mircea Donciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigore Nuțu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Paul Onaca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. Emilian Dedu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Moiș firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiberiu Moiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Donose, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Andrei Pancu charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Pancu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute Laurențiu Donose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Moiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Dedu got free with Tiberiu Moiș in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiberiu Moiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Stolojan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
