Valeriu Pacuraru started the match with the kick off. Tudor Casian hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriu Pacuraru in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toader Caranfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Nicseni - BTF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cosmin Itu hit a great ball. C.S.Șoimii Lipova's Valeriu Pacuraru got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorin Contra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leonard Aluncai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Comănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, C.S.Șoimii Lipova's goalkeeper Leonard Aluncai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corneliu Comănescu. A hard shot 29 in the game by Cosmin Itu from a close distance when the talented Leonard Aluncai managed to make a qualified save. C.S.Șoimii Lipova's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cosmin Itu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nicseni - BTF's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosmin Itu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Aluncai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corneliu Comănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmin Itu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leonard Aluncai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nicseni - BTF. Horaţiu Avacariței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Toader Caranfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toader Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Pacuraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Cosmin Itu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosmin Itu made a kick off. Toader Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Pacuraru in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nicseni - BTF's goalkeeper Toader Caranfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corneliu Comănescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Aluncai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corneliu Comănescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosmin Itu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Aluncai having to interfere. In the 69th minute Corneliu Comănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Aluncai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toader Caranfil didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. 77 minutes into the game, FC Nicseni - BTF's Cosmin Itu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Aluncai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Nicseni - BTF's Corneliu Comănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Nicseni - BTF's Tudor Casian got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Tudor Casian off the ground. The supporters of C.S.Șoimii Lipova booed when FC Nicseni - BTF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Casian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Pacuraru in the 89th minute of play forced FC Nicseni - BTF's goalkeeper Toader Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Comănescu scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Aluncai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Nicseni - BTF had played much better football throughout.
