FC Red Team's Florin Smarandache got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Birișu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Enache in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Smarandache in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Birișu saved Satuc from getting behind. A collision led to FC Red Team getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dorin Huțupan hit a great ball. Adam Birișu came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Red Team's Florin Smarandache. But to his dismay, Florin Smarandache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Enache in the 41st minute of play forced Satuc's goalkeeper Adam Birișu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorel Dichiseanu was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Sergiu Postelnicescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergiu Postelnicescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ion Curtean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dorel Dichiseanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
