The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sandu Buznea sped through Delutu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilie Itoafă. In the 58th minute, Delutu's Mihai Maiorescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mihai Maiorescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Delutu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mihai Maiorescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Mandruloc UFC's Gabriel Fărcășan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ilie Itoafă. After 63 minutes, Aurelian Corlățean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delutu and the Mandruloc UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Aurelian Corlățean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mandruloc UFC's Șerban Zbereanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
