The referee gave Rocada mica a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iordache Soneriu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Joita UFC's Octavian Armeanca. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Arvinte in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Armeanca saved Joita UFC from getting behind. Octavian Armeanca made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Nicu Roşu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Ciolac in the 21st minute of play forced Rocada mica's goalkeeper Costel Dragomir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Marcel Ciolac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavian Armeanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Arvinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Suşu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Octavian Armeanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocada mica. In the 46th minute, the referee gave Rocada mica a penalty. Iordache Soneriu looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Octavian Armeanca. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Ciolac to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcel Ciolac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Hârtopanu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Sabin Arvinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Dragomir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Miclauș, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rocada mica's goalkeeper Costel Dragomir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Marcel Ciolac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joita UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocada mica the free kick. After 96 played minutes Joita UFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Ciolac. Joita UFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Rocada mica to leave the ground with a draw.
