Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valeriu Chițes kicked off to start the match. Anıl Ozan Dahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Luțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Petrică Miclauș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Anıl Ozan Dahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Eric Beșleaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herford FCM's Anıl Ozan Dahi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anıl Ozan Dahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Rednic, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Marcel Ciolac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Herford FCM booed when Joita UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Cercelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Joita UFC's Eric Beșleaga got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Valentin Luțu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anıl Ozan Dahi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sebastian Rednic put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anıl Ozan Dahi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Luțu in the 42nd minute of play forced Herford FCM's goalkeeper Anıl Ozan Dahi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Ionel Bulă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Luțu to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sebastian Rednic took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Anıl Ozan Dahi to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Valentin Luțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ozan Dahi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Ozan Dahi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Rednic in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viorel Ghionescu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Herford FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Ghionescu to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Armeanca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Chițes in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Valentin Luțu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anıl Ozan Dahi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Valentin Ciuhandu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Armeanca. Octavian Armeanca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After 79 minutes of play, Joita UFC's Valentin Luțu made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Ozan Dahi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82nd play minutes Eric Beșleaga shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Anıl Ozan Dahi and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Herford FCM booed when Joita UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Cercelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aurelian Hârtopanu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Joita UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Hârtopanu couldn't finish the play. Marcel Ciolac struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Anıl Ozan Dahi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joita UFC. If Eric Beșleaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Aursulesei shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Joita UFC played a much better game than Herford FCM and deserved their victory. The Herford FCM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
