The Ciragi FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Ciragi FC's Cyrille Huynh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Adrian Iancu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ciragi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Iancu couldn't finish the play. Cyrille Huynh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ozan Dahi having to interfere. When Ciragi FC's Cyrille Huynh in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herford FCM's goalie prevented a goal. Cyrille Huynh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anıl Ozan Dahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Valeriu Chițes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Mihăileanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyrille Huynh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Cyrille Huynh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Ozan Dahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Huynh, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Cyrille Huynh might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Ozan Dahi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyrille Huynh ran back to his position shaking his head. Herford FCM's Anıl Ozan Dahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrille Huynh in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Herford FCM defense, Cyrille Huynh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anıl Ozan Dahi. The Herford FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anıl Ozan Dahi should have stopped the shot. Cyrille Huynh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ozan Dahi having to interfere. Anıl Ozan Dahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Huynh in the 47th minute of play. The Herford FCM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ciragi FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriu Chițes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Herford FCM's zone, Adrian Iancu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Ozan Dahi came out of the goal and Adrian Iancu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Herford FCM's Valeriu Chițes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Mihăileanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ciragi FC booed when Herford FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ciuhandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cyrille Huynh came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ciragi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrille Huynh couldn't finish the play. Niculae Dobrițoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Anıl Ozan Dahi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Huynh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anıl Ozan Dahi was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. David Puric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leontin Bungeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anıl Ozan Dahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyrille Huynh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ozan Dahi having to interfere. Cyrille Huynh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Anıl Ozan Dahi made a huge save. In the 84th match minute, Herford FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Cutieru to maneuver through the defense. Ciragi FC's Leontin Bungeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moise Burdujan charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Burdujan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Moise Burdujan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrille Huynh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anıl Ozan Dahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Cyrille Huynh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anıl Ozan Dahi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Dobrițoiu got free with Anıl Ozan Dahi in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Ciragi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herford FCM throughout the match.
