Ivan Lozovan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Geamănu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Äç.Jökërül 89's goalkeeper Ciprian Geamănu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Horia Burdea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Curuțiu in the 20th minute of play forced Romanian Patriots's goalkeeper Victor Huțupan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Lozovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ciprian Geamănu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciprian Geamănu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Răchitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ivan Lozovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Răchitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciprian Geamănu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lozovan in the 33rd minute of play. Victor Huțupan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Curuțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Horia Burdea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Huțupan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Curuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ivan Lozovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Geamănu having to interfere.

Ciprian Geamănu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Doru Răchitan sent off a good shot on target. If Doru Răchitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Äç.Jökërül 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Grecea to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Lozovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Geamănu having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Romanian Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Burdea came free, but Victor Huțupan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ivan Lozovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Ciprian Geamănu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ciprian Geamănu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Doru Răchitan sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Lozovan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ciprian Geamănu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romanian Patriots. Albert Anton's late challenge caught a Romanian Patriots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Anton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Äç.Jökërül 89 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Albert Anton hit a great ball. Cornel Gârneț, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With 95 minutes on the clock, Vlad Bidulescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
