After having played for 27 minutes, Isac Cumpanașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ehresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Cumpanașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fabian Antipa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ehresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Antipa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Geamănu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciprian Geamănu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ciprian Cioculescu sent off a good shot on target. If Mugurel Mitică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciprian Geamănu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Cioculescu in the 39th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Curuțiu made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Äç.Jökërül 89's zone, Isac Cumpanașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Geamănu came out of the goal and Isac Cumpanașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihăiţă Chiru during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Ehresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Chiru to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Horia Burdea could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Vintilă Boștină however easily saved by the left post. Horia Burdea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vintilă Boștină tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Boștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Curuțiu in the 69th minute of the match. If Ciprian Cioculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ciprian Cioculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciprian Geamănu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Äç.Jökërül 89's Edgar Grecea got a free kick in the 81st minute. Isac Cumpanașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isac Cumpanașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mugurel Ciorogaru fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ehresti's protests and gave Mugurel Ciorogaru a yellow card for diving instead. Mugurel Ciorogaru hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Isac Cumpanașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Geamănu having to interfere.
