With an all-out effort, Academy Football Club's Ştefan Răzvan threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petre Homescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute Eduard Spârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Udrişte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gheorghe Stroe during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academy Football Club booed when Berbesu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Stroe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
