Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Tudose in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octav Ciurea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Moșanu's late challenge caught a Bala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Bala's Bogdan Bourceanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octav Ciurea. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Lupa din Ghencea's Octav Ciurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Opriș in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Lupa din Ghencea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Braniște to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Bala's goalkeeper Lucian Ilie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Moșanu. Lucian Ilie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codrin Onișoru in the 96th minute. Lupa din Ghencea were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bala's much stronger midfield.
