Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Carabaci CSS's zone, Marian Moșanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Stroescu came out of the goal and Marian Moșanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Moșanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Stroescu could save by the left post. Julian Ruzicki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octav Ciurea having to make a save. When Lucian Birișu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carabaci CSS's protests and gave Lucian Birișu a yellow card for diving instead. Lucian Birișu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Lupa din Ghencea's Sebastian Stroescu threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Traian Curuțiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th play minute Traian Curuțiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sebastian Stroescu. 1-0. The supporters of Carabaci CSS booed when Lupa din Ghencea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Fecioru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Lupa din Ghencea got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Cerchez. 32 minutes into the game, Julian Ruzicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Octav Ciurea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lupa din Ghencea's goalie prevented a goal. Lupa din Ghencea's Octav Ciurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ruzicki in the 36th minute of play. Julian Ruzicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Octav Ciurea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordache Cerchez helped the player get up and apologised. Carabaci CSS's Moise Calini got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Ruzicki in the 47th minute of play forced Lupa din Ghencea's goalkeeper Octav Ciurea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Traian Curuțiu to make the kick off. When Carabaci CSS's Julian Ruzicki in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lupa din Ghencea's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Moise Calini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabaci CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Calini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carabaci CSS's Sebastian Stroescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Moșanu in the 57th minute of play. Julian Ruzicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Moise Calini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabaci CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Calini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Moșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sebastian Stroescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucian Birișu got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Carabaci CSS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lucian Birișu hit a great ball. Lupa din Ghencea's Octav Ciurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Calini in the 66th minute of play. Florin Drăgoi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Carabaci CSS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Moise Calini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Moșanu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Stroescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octav Ciurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Calini in the 79th minute of the match. Florin Drăgoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Octav Ciurea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Drăgoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Carabaci CSS's Moise Calini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Ciurea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Carabaci CSS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
