Sever Colin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marcu Manciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Iustinian Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Indol getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dinu Grigorie hit a great ball. Codrin Bitănescu struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Iustinian Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indol. After 22 minutes, Andrei Cismaș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indol and the F.C.Steaua Mogo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Andrei Cismaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indol's Sever Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Radovan in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Bitănescu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustinian Arapașu saved F.C.Steaua Mogo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragoş Ciungu got free with Sever Colin in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Nedelciu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Nedelciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 36 minutes into the game, one of F.C.Steaua Mogo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Indol a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgar Rotariu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C.Steaua Mogo's Iustinian Arapașu. 2-1. If Edgar Rotariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Cismaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Radovan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mugurel Teaşcă's late challenge caught a F.C.Steaua Mogo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugurel Teaşcă helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of F.C.Steaua Mogo booed when Indol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Teaşcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute F.C.Steaua Mogo were awarded a corner. Mădălin Sârban went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mădălin Sârban got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sever Colin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute Manuel Mitulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Iustinian Arapașu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 58 minutes, Damian Capisizu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.Steaua Mogo and the Indol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes F.C.Steaua Mogo got a freekick which was hit by Damian Capisizu. Edgar Rotariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Arapașu having to interfere. Andrei Cismaș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustinian Arapașu having to make a save. Edgar Rotariu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iustinian Arapașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Codrin Bitănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iustinian Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, one of Indol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Indol. In the 76th match minute, Indol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Rotariu to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, F.C.Steaua Mogo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrei Cismaș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgar Rotariu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustinian Arapașu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Rotariu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 played minutes Indol got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Onuț. After 95 played minutes F.C.Steaua Mogo got a freekick which was hit by Damian Capisizu. Marcu Manciulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Arapașu having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. F.C.Steaua Mogo were victorious despite being under pressure from Indol for much of the match.
