Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Toader Lupșe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Iurie Băbescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Târgoviște and the Jupanu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Iurie Băbescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Enceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Baciu having to interfere. If Toader Căplescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie Enache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Brăescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Toader Căplescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Enache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Jupanu's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Căplescu came free, but Ilie Enache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Enceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, F.C Târgoviște's Toader Căplescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Enache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilie Enache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Căplescu in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to F.C Târgoviște getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ionel Iorgu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jupanu's zone, Eric Elisei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Enache came out of the goal and Eric Elisei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Toader Căplescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie Enache made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Eric Elisei sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Jupanu's zone, Eric Elisei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Enache came out of the goal and Eric Elisei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toader Căplescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ilie Enache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Eric Elisei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iurie Băbescu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Enache saved Jupanu from getting behind. Toader Căplescu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Enache. Ilie Enache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 65thth minute of the game Eric Elisei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jupanu's Ilie Enache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toader Căplescu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes F.C Târgoviște got a freekick which was hit by Toader Căplescu. After 67 played minutes Jupanu got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Negrițoiu. When F.C Târgoviște's Eric Elisei in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jupanu's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Toader Căplescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Enache. Jupanu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toader Căplescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Eric Elisei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Enache was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Valentin Baciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Lupșe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toader Căplescu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ilie Enache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Târgoviște. Ilie Enache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Elisei in the 88th minute of play. F.C Târgoviște walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
