Stelian Lupoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Stroia, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Victor Neguțu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tintava is Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Neguțu couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Tottenham AB got a freekick which was hit by Damian Plopeanu. David Stroia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stelian Lupoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristi Surdilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristi Surdilă made a kick off. David Stroia in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stelian Lupoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Victor Neguțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Stroia got free with Stelian Lupoi in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes in the game, David Stroia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stelian Lupoi having to interfere. Victor Neguțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
