Ciprian Costandache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Argintari CSM's Ernest Mateianu in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ciprian Costandache guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 43rd minute, Ernest Mateianu made a precise shot to the right of Ciprian Costandache. CFR 1907 CLUJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alin Voitiş to make the kick off. Ciprian Costandache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to CFR 1907 CLUJ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luca Ciocârlan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Brad in the 80th minute of play forced CFR 1907 CLUJ's goalkeeper Ciprian Costandache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Costandache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Mateianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Alex Brad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 87 minutes of play, Argintari CSM's Alex Brad made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciprian Costandache was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alex Brad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
