Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduard Harnagea made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Red Bull CLUJ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Adrian Chitoran hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Nechifor Arotăriței sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandu Codrea skillfully saved the ball. Olimpiu Bistreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Bistreanu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandu Codrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manole Zbereanu charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Zbereanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Red Bull CLUJ defense, Maxim Mironov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandu Codrea. The Red Bull CLUJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandu Codrea should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes in the game, Maxim Mironov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sandu Codrea having to interfere. Olimpiu Bistreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sandu Codrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Eduard Harnagea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull CLUJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molani the free kick. In the 36th minute, Eduard Harnagea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Floruțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Mironov got free with Sandu Codrea in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Arotăriței charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Arotăriței the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Bistreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandu Codrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Mironov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Harnagea in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Calistrat Brănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play, Molani's Maxim Mironov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandu Codrea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 81 minutes, Olimpiu Bistreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Bistreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Maxim Mironov came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Molani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Mironov couldn't finish the play.
