The audience was convinced that Bogdan Dascălu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Tender was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Maxim Mironov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Olimpiu Bistreanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pompiliu Cernat to make any attempt to save it. Codrin Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Dascălu in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Molani getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Iordache Chirnoagă hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Mironov got free with Pompiliu Cernat in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxim Mironov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Pompiliu Cernat made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Hurezan during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Sepsi-SIC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Hurezan. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Codrin Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Dascălu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Olimpiu Bistreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Cernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pompiliu Cernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Mironov in the 56th minute of the match. Olimpiu Bistreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Emanuel Țâpu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molani's protests and gave Emanuel Țâpu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sepsi-SIC booed when Molani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Țâpu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Molani's Olimpiu Bistreanu got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Maxim Mironov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Cernat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Mironov's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. A collision led to Sepsi-SIC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Constantin Gavruță hit a great ball. Mihai Daraban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Cernat having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Constantin Hurezan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Molani's Nechifor Arotăriței broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
