Spectators: 7084 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Izbicioara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Frântu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Octav Cicortaș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Frântu in the 94th minute of play forced CFR 1907 CLUJ's goalkeeper Ciprian Costandache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
